Serves: 3 (1-cup servings)
- 3 cups purified water
- 1 tbsp. dried chamomile
- 1 tbsp. dried peppermint
Bring water to boil. Add dried herbs. Turn off water and cover pot with heavy lid. Let stand 10 minutes and strain. Drink up to three times a day.
Folklore: Chamomile promotes healing, decreases inflammation in the stomach, and can ease the anxiety that may be perpetuating an ulcer. Peppermint is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
