Are you looking for a high potency Probiotic, but prefer the convenience of a room temperature stable product you can take with you? If you’re a traveler or just looking for a probiotic that doesn’t require refrigeration, you shouldn’t have to settle for a lower quality product. Now you can have all the convenience of a shelf-stable probiotic without sacrificing potency or quality. ReNew Life, America’s #1 probiotic brand, introduces the new Ultimate Flora RTS, to revolutionize the probiotic marketplace.

No Refrigeration Required!

We’ve solved the age-old issue of forgetting to take your probiotic. Now you can remember to take your probiotic every day because you’ll see it on the counter at room temperature, instead of tucked away in the refrigerator. Ultimate Flora RTS (Room Temperature Strains) Probiotics are specially formulated to be kept at room temperature, or 77 degrees.

Potency Until Expiration

If you look carefully, many probiotic formulas list the number of total probiotic cultures at time of manufacture, not expiration. Who knows how many live bacteria will be present by the time you take it?! Ultimate Flora RTS Probiotics are guaranteed to provide at least 15 Billion live cultures per capsule all the way to their expiration date if stored at or below 77 degrees.

3 Unique Formulas for Various Health Needs

With specially blended mixtures of both Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria (Ls and Bs) probiotic strains, there’s something for everyone in the Ultimate Flora RTS Probiotic line. Daily Probiotic features 10 strains with an equal amount of both Ls and Bs to support digestive and immune health in both the small and large intestines. The all-Lactobacillus Women’s Formula promotes the most prevalent type of beneficial bacteria in the vagina to help support balanced levels of vaginal yeast and urinary health. Finally, Ultimate Flora RTS Colon Care Probiotic contains only Bifidobacteria strains, the native bacteria found in the colon and the type that most often declines with age.

Double Foil Blister Packs for Ultimate Protection

So what keeps the Probiotics stable at room temperature? A key to retaining the best freshness and potency is protecting probiotic cultures from damaging factors, such as moisture. Double Foil Blister Packages are not only convenient, they provide an absolute barrier from light, moisture and air. No other packaging method seals in the potency better than foil-on-foil blister packs.

Delayed Release Capsules for Ultimate Delivery

While probiotics are also utilized in the upper digestive tract, the majority of bacterial populations exist in the lower small and large intestines. So how do the good bacteria get all the way down there? Probiotics must travel through the harsh stomach environment and be delivered to the intestines to colonize. Delayed-release capsules are engineered to remain intact through the stomach and begin dissolving in the intestine, where they are needed most.

Taking the right probiotic supplement can help promote digestive health, urinary and vaginal health, bowel regularity and strengthen the body’s natural immune defenses. Choose one of the unique Ultimate Flora RTS Probiotics, and you’ll know you have the “best probiotic in the room.”

How are your probiotics specially formulated to remain at room temperature? Are they freeze dried? If so, what is the percentage that come ‘back to life’? Is the product pasteurized?

I can see the change i love this productalthough not required can you put it in the frige still

I will tell you that I have been using REFRIGERATED Ultimate Flora for years. I noticed during Christmas 2012 that our Walgreens is carrying the product on the shelf. I asked the pharmacist “isn’t it supposed to be refrigerated because it contains LIVE cultures?” He said, “It must be shelf stable now.”
So I purchased the 80 billion critical care at Walgreens since it was substantially less expensive than at my privately owned health food store.
Within 3 weeks I developed a yeast infection. I doubled up and couldn’t cure it. I got sick with some virus… which I haven’t even had a cold in a couple of years prior. I purchased ANOTHER bottle at Walgreens and doubled up trying to fight this stuff off for WEEKS.
Finally I went BACK to my health food store and purchased the REFRIGERATED same product. Within 3 days I was completely cured.
I will NEVER EVER EVER believe that LIVE cultures are “shelf stable”. I live in AZ… you cannot tell me that the delivery trucks are keeping the product at “room temperature” when it is 110 degrees outside.
You should RETHINK your new “marketing” before the reputation of your product goes into the toilet. I KNEW that your product worked – but others that try your “shelf stable” version will not see the normal results that your refrigerated product gives. You will LOSE customers. They may buy it once but they won’t buy it twice or three times if there are no results.

    Dear Jeanne N.,

The product that you purchased, the Ultimate Flora Critical Colon 80 billion is not part of what’s called the Ultimate Flora RTS line which are the “shelf stable” probiotics referred to on this blog. The Ultimate Flora RTS are actually in unique foil blister packs which allow them more environment stability.

Your 80 billion is stable until the packaging is opened. After opening, unless it’s 73 degrees or less where the bottle is stored, the product should be refrigerated.

You brought up some medical issues which we here at Renew Life Support can’t address. I’ve forwarded your comment to Brenda Watson’s assistant and I would think you can expect an email from her very soon.

Thanks for your continued support and interest in our products.

    Dear Tracy,
What keeps them stable at room temperature is the unique packaging – a double foil blister pack. And no, they’re not freeze dried or pasteurized. They are fermented. And the number of cultures described on the bottle are actually guaranteed up to consumption, if prior to expiration. Thanks for your interest.

    Dear kacy allen,

We’re so happy this product has been great for you. And it’s no problem at all to refrigerate and it’s even a good idea in the summer if it’s extra hot in the area they’ll be stored. Glad you asked.

Two Questions, and apologies for the length, yet I am certain others are also wanting to know:

    1) How can you claim products are dairy and gluten free, if their labels’ disclaimers state the product is handled in a facility which also manufactures “products that contain wheat, gluten, soy, and dairy”?

    2) As is the case for many women (especially those daignosed as estrogen dominant as I am – a potentially dangerous condition), I specifically avoid soy products due to their estrogenic properties, unless they’re properly fermented.

The product link I noted above, is for your Womens’ Formula — manufactured in a facility which makes products containing soy.

How is the soy within your formula ITSELF fermented? Also – please explain how it is safe for those concerned about estrogen dominance.

I discontinued a protein powder which stated it contained “fermented soy”, because the manufacturer, when pointedly asked for details about their fermenting process – refused to divulge their “proprietary process”. The result was that they lost customers like me.

Thanks, I look forward to your responses.

    Dear Michelle M,
    In response to your post:
    1) This disclaimer is there for people who have extreme allergies. Legally, we want people to be absolutely sure of the products they choose. In other words, we don’t own all the facilities where products are manufactured, and other products are there also. The reason we can say “dairy and gluten free” is that we test each lot of our product and they fall inside the guidelines that describe what “dairy and gluten free” mean. It’s all very legal, and I’m sure it was created to be protective, and it gets sort of wild. We can’t call our fiber product gluten free anymore because the farmer who owns the fields where the oats are grown doesn’t have them under cover, and therefore a bird could fly over and drop a kernel of wheat or something from a neighboring field that had gluten. So he can’t call his oats gluten free!!! See what I mean? And it’s very important information for someone who has severe allergic reactions. That’s not the case for most of us, thank goodness.
    2) That product doesn’t have any soy in it at all.
    I hope this helps.

Very curious: why is it that in some stores the probiotics are kept in a refrigerated area, and in other stores its not? I always buy the refrigerated ones and keep them in fridge, but am wondering if the non refrigerated ones are as potent and just as good to buy?? Much appreciation for your answer!!

Probiotics are now specially packaged to withstand transportation climate changes, negating the need for refrigeration. However once the packaging is opened, probiotics are more at risk. For best results, we suggest refrigerating our probiotics after opening, however it’s not necessary before. Storing our probiotics at or below 73 degrees allows us to guarantee label claim potency until the time of expiration.
Additionally, to ensure the highest potency of probiotic cultures, Renew Life includes more probiotic cultures at the time of manufacture than we claim on the label. Thought you might like to know.
