Hi Abbey,

There are many studies that indicate that vaginal issues are improved by the oral administration of probiotic bacteria. Based on this evidence, we formulated our Ultimate Flora Vaginal Support product to be taken orally.

Some women choose to open the capsule and create their own suppository, but we cannot suggest this or advise on suppository usage.

I had a bad case of BV and yeast for many months.  I got rid of both a few months ago but I was left with a swollen and irritated vulva.  I have tried just about everything.  I recently started the UF Vaginal Support probiotic.  I wanted to know if it was safe to insert it vaginally by taking the contents from the capsule and mixing with a bit of water and using an applicator to insert.  Also, it it can be used like this, how often is safe, 1x/day until all symptoms are gone?
