I'm so sorry your question wasn't answered sooner. There was an issue with the website over the holiday, and this post was just retrieved.
I'm sure you're healed now.
Even with laxatives, (which I'm sure you're no longer using), you would still want to take your digestive enzymes. They do their work in the stomach, and then the small intestine.
Also, most Renew Life probiotics don't open until they get to the intestine, but they will be helpful, no matter what, to assist in decreasing inflammation and healing your intestinal lining.
Perhaps you'll consider natural products like Omega oils and a product like Constipation Stop to assist with elimination in the future, if needed.

Have Crohn's disease and recently had a rectal dilation. I currently am drinking mineral oil and taking Miralax until healed. I purchased probiotics and digestive enzymes but started thinking maybe I should not be taking with all the laxatives. Is it ok to take the probiotics and enzymes with the laxatives? I was afraid I would just be flushing everything out so I did not take them today. I am wanting to control my Crohn's issues (minor to me) with diet and natural methods versus the Doctor method of loading me up with immunosupressives.
