Dear david jones,
Actually, Brenda Watson wrote a recent blog on that very subject entitled “Gut Organisms More in Control than You Think”. Obese individuals have been found to have different gut microbes than their thin counterparts.
This research is still in its infancy however. Of course, we’d like to isolate a “thin” probiotic, however the likelihood is that maintaining a good balance of beneficial microbes and a healthful diet will still be the shortest road to weight maintenance.
