OfflineHi Sarah,
Yes, taking more probiotics during an antibiotic course is great – 2 or more a day would be fine. Be sure to take your probiotic at least 2 hours away from the antibiotic, preferably after and not before. This can be difficult depending on how frequently you're taking the antibiotics throughout the day, but do your best.
Taking probiotics before an antibiotic does help, but many people don't have a lot of fore-warning.
Good luck,

I read in another post that more probiotics could be considered when taking antibiotics. I am prone to yeast infections when taking antibiotics for UTIs. I was prescribed antibiotics, began taking this morning, and plan to take the once-a-day probiotic in a few hours. Would it be alright if I took two a day, or is this probiotic only for once-a-day use? The store that I purchased the critical care at does not have the vaginal care, otherwise I would have stocked up on that as well. I also thought that I should have started the probiotics beforehand, or does that not make a difference?
Thanks,
Sarah
