I truly feel for you! I'm picturing you well and off the merry-go-round!

First, yes, you can take probiotics while taking antibiotics – at least 3 hours away from the antibiotics. Those intense meanie antibiotics will decimate your friendly probiotic guys, and I agree with you, it's still better than nothing. Usually you'll take anti's in the a.m. and p.m. You can do the probiotics at lunchtime, at least. Or any time, observing that 3 hour window.

I'd use the high dose powder probiotics. The Ultimate Flora Super Critical 200 billion.

Here's an additional thought – If it were me, I'd also get some Ultimate Flora Advanced Immunity. It contains a different type of probiotic that isn't affected by antibiotics (it's a yeast base) called S. boulaardi.

I'm VERY happy to hear you're following the anti-Candida diet. And that you've been taking the 50 and 30 billion each morning. If finances are an issue, actually you can continue with those until you're through your antibiotic, and then start with the 200 billion to repopulate the minute you've finished your prescriptive round.
