My 7-year old has chronic constipation.  His pediatrician says it's because he holds it in and causes it himself.  She prescribed Miralax to keep him going.  I am giving him 1/2 capful every three days and he's still got problems.  He is home from school today because of leaking around the stool.  The doctor wants me to give an enema or take him to the er for one.  Please help!  He is a very picky eater and eats very few vegetables and fruits.  I can get him to drink fresh fruit smoothies and eat apple slices, but he still has problems.  I was looking at the products and do not know where to start to help him.  Thank you!
