A fiber product with insoluble and soluble fiber is necessary to promote regularity. A fiber blend that mimics the ratio of insoluble to soluble fiber (found in a diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables) is what the body recognizes as natural. A fiber with approximately 75% insoluble fiber to 25% soluble fiber is the ideal ratio for most people. For those with occasional diarrhea or a loose stools, a higher soluble fiber content may be beneficial.
