As our directions recommend, it is best to contact your physician before beginning any cleansing program if you are taking medication. Also, while healthy eating habits are certainly beneficial whether or not you are cleansing, your doctor may have specific recommendations with regard to your activity level when taking a medication such as Toprol.

I am interested in beginning a total body cleanse but I read if I am taking any medications, I should consult my prescribing physician first. Does anyone know if there have been any side effects (negative) by starting this regiment? I want to stop smoking and try a cleanse. I eat well and intend to increase my activity level to benefit from the program completely.
