Hello,

It's great that you're looking for ways to maintain a healthy, cleansed colon. The Organic Bowel Cleanse is great for occasional use, some people use it a few times each year either alone or during other cleanses, but it is not for prolonged use because it contains laxative ingredients. It's not totally clear how long or how often laxatives can be used without causing some dependency because everyone is different.

Products that are totally appropriate and healthy to take every day are Fiber products, Omega Oils, Probiotics and Enzymes (the HOPE formula - High fiber, Oils, Probiotics and Enzymes) so you're on the right track.

Keep on taking probiotics and maybe choose a good fiber supplement too – fiber will help keep your bowel healthy by supporting regularity and has many other health benefits. We're supposed to consume 35 grams of fiber each day, so a fiber supplement will help you hit that goal.

Take a look at Chia seed supplements too, they contain fiber, omega oils (omega 3 and 6) plus protein and antioxidants so it's way more than just fiber.

Good luck and thanks for choosing our products.

I have a question regarding the usage of organic bowel cleanse. I have done the First Cleanse followed by the 30 day Cleanse Smart. Is the organic bowel cleanse product something that can be taken daily just to maintain after cleansing? I bought a13 ounce container of the powder variety but want to be sure that I am using it appropriately. I know some people become addicted to laxatives by overuse and I don't want that to be the case here. I would just like to maintain a cleaner, less toxic colon! Any advice would be appreciated. I take probiotics daily along with a good multivitamin, Calcium, Magnesium and fish oil but no other medication. Thank you.
