First, we do not recommend using ParaGONE while following the SCD diet, as the SCD plan includes beverages/foods such as grape juice, honey, saccharine and cream cheese—all of which feed yeast and parasites in the body. This may be the reason you are experiencing significant bloating (essentially the fermentation from the sugars in the foods you are eating are interacting with the beneficial ingredients in ParaGONE).
If you do choose to continue using ParaGONE, we recommend a diet that avoids all refined and whole wheat products, as well as dairy, sugar and most fruits. (See our Yeast Cleansing Diet for an example.) Finally, no, you typically will not see parasites in your bowel movements, as the most common types of parasites are microscopic and will not be visible in the stool. Hope this helps!

I have been having bloating and constipation for a long time and recently went on the SCD diet. I also decided to try a Parasite Cleanse to see if that would help. I started the cleanse 5 days ago and I have a few questions about it.
First question is, will I actually "see" results if I do, in fact have a parasite problem and if so, how long until I see that?
My next question is, is it possible to be extra bloated from this product at first? I am fine with being bloated from this if the end result is getting better but I would like to know if "extra" bloating is a normal side effect.
Another question I have is, if I do have parasites, should I be bloated ALL THE TIME? For years, I had a "pregnant belly" (but weigh only 100 pounds) all the time but after I started the SCD diet, I wake up with almost a flat stomach and then it gets progressively more bloated throughout the day. Is that a sign of parasites?
