Is it safe to use the 7 day rapid cleanse prodram with CF?

Hi K,
We recommend consulting your son’s physician before beginning any cleansing program, as he/she will be the best one to determine whether or not cleansing may prove beneficial at this time. However, yes, that is correct about the fiber supplements, so it may be best to choose a cleanse without a fiber component.

We bought the rapid cleanse 7-day program for my 20 year old son who has Cystic Fibrosis but now I am not
sure it is safe to give him. It clearly states on step 2 not to consume the fiber supplement if you have an acute cough.
With his condition he has a sever chronic cough with lots if sticky mucus.
It was suggested to us at a health food store to use over the weekend while we try to do an at home (supervised) detox
to get him off his addiction to pain meds.
Should we take this back and try a different product?
