Hi Dave,

-You may continue to drink decaf coffee - it is not necessary to abstain.

-Goat cheese is less of an issue because it is easier to digest. As for the mozzarella, we recommend simply cutting back on this during the cleanse.

-Peanuts and peanut butter typically become an issue when allergies are present, but there is some evidence about certain toxins and microbes that can be found on the surface of the nuts. Peanuts and peanut butter may be eaten, just sparingly.

- Yes, that is fine. 30 minutes is the minimum.

Hope this helps!

Greetings!

My wife and I are doing our first cleanse starting today and I had a couple of questions regarding diet and timing of pills with the 14 day Organic Full Body cleanse:

- we normally drink decaf coffee.  should we abstain for these two weeks?

- it says to avoid dairy, but goat cheese is ok.  how about buffalo mozzerella?

- I've read in other articles that peanuts/peanut butter should be avoided.  Is this true?

- lastly, after taking formula #1 when I first wake up, is it ok to wait about an hour and take #2 with breakfast and water before heading to work?  The directions say take #2 thirty minutes after #1.  I guess I just want to make sure that waiting an hour is ok.

Thank you!  Looking forward to hearing back.

Hi Gina,

Here's a link to the First Cleanse product usage instructions that contains some helpful diet suggestions:

You may also want to refer to a couple of blog posts that we've written about diet suggestions when cleansing:

Hope this helps!

Is there a diet that should be followed? I just started First Cleanse and there aren't any instructions as to foods or drinks that you should or should not take while cleansing?
