Because of your recent history, we recommend consulting your physician before beginning any cleansing program. From there, we typically suggest beginning with a general total-body cleanse (such as First Cleanse or CleanseSMART) to help establish a foundation of optimal health. After that, enhanced cleansing and detox programs can help address your individual needs – in this case Total Kidney Detox and/or Heavy Metal Cleanse can help with your concerns about kidney health and heavy metals. You may proceed right from cleanse to cleanse, though some people prefer to wait a week or two in between.
Because you have been taking antibiotics, it is also very important to take a daily probiotic supplement such as Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50 Billion to help restore a balanced intestinal environment. Although antibiotics do kill many harmful bacteria in the gut, they also destroy plenty of beneficial bacteria, so restoring a healthy balance is important for better digestion and overall health.
I recently had a few medical problems that have lead me to want to do a cleanse. It will be my first time as well.
First off, I had a kidney stone about two weeks ago. Previous to that I have also had kidney infections and UTI's etc, which makes me feel like a kidney based cleanse would be a good idea. The kidney stone was not easy to identify, so I had a CT scan, which required that I drink a bunch of bromine, which I was told was toxic and made me think a heavy metal cleanse would be good. Third, shortly after the kidney stone I was put on anti-biotics for another infection. It has now been a week since the I took the one time dose of anti-biotics.
I would like to start a cleanse, my energy and mood are not at their best. Can anyone recommend where would be a good place for me to start with the above conditions?
