Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about your bad reaction to First Cleanse. As our customer service representative said, it could be a reaction to one or some of the herbs in the formula. Unfortunately, it's impossible to know exactly why you feel this way or what to suggest to make it better. I can only hope that by now your symptoms have subsided.

If your reactions are due to a sensitivity or even an allergy to an herb, you may want to contact an allergist to identify your exact sensitivity. For cases of gas, carminitive herbs such as fennel or ginger can help – massage or physical exercise is another option since gas can be relieved with some movement.

I used the FirstCleanse product as directed for 7 days. After Day 3, I was experiencing abdomen discomfort but assumed it was just working it's magic. By Day 7, after taking my a.m. capsules, I was about to burst into tears. I called the 800 number provided and spoke with a very nice and knowledgeable lady. We concluded I must have a reaction to one of the herbs in part 1, and I should quit the program. Today is the first day I haven't taken anything and am still miserable. I am not constipated but my stomach is blown up and I am very sore above both hipbones. I am in pain every time I move. Now my middle to lower back is aching and I don't know if it's because I've been walking hunched over all week or something else. I am not an alarmist and don't want to go to the ER to be told this is gas. I also want to know what in the world I can eat or should take to feel better. I have very little appetite but am eating a little. I've tried a warm water bottle on my abdomen, activated charcoal, ginger tea, just tried a couple Gas X chewables. This is not a problem I've ever had before. Very rarely do I have gas, and I have bm's like clockwork every morning and although I've been going randomly 3-4 times a day, I feel like I still haven't had a clean sweep like usual. I would really appreciate any advise you can send my way.

Thanks!
