Hello.
Yes, it's absolutely fine to take one FiberSmart capsule several times per day. I think it might be ideal to take it on an empty stomach given your circumstances. Typically we recommend taking supplements on an empty stomach anyway.
With the First Cleanse the recommendation would be similar. You'll start with one capsule of part one in the morning on an empty stomach, eventually you'll need to take two capsules in the morning but you can also stretch that out. Take one first thing, then the other 1 hour after breakfast for example. The evening formula can be taken that same way, in the evening on an empty stomach as well. The First Cleanse does not contain a substantial amount of fiber at all so I don't think you'll have the same issues.

I have GERD/hiatal hernia and I usually need to greatly pare down/water down/stretch out fiber supplements to prevent choking. I've never had a choking episode, thank goodness, but I can tell when my body can't handle a certain dosage of fiber. I've just started taking Fiber Smart – instead of taking 4 pills at once, can I stretch out the dosage to 1 pill 4x day? Also, do you recommend taking it on an empty stomach? I just took 1 pill on a somewhat full stomach and it felt like it wasn't going to stay down. I am drinking 16 oz of water with each pill.
I also want to use First Cleanse. Will I have similar issues with the recommended dosage of First Cleanse?
